Berkana reversed, Eihwaz, and Berkana offered pointers for today.
Berkana reversed, blocked growth are an indication to "clean house." I was feeling very ambivalent about my plans for the weekend. I did some soul searching and determined that the plans I have are appropriate for my personal development. I know some travels are meant to be done alone. However, some support and a sounding board would be handy. What is mine will come to me.
Eihwaz is a defensive rune and may indicate denial. Shedding denial takes lots of hard work, time, and patience. Addressing my concerns about my plans and their timeliness is part of that process.
Berkana is growth and requires right action: Inguz. Renewal, create and restore life to a balance. Take steps to renew life.
Algiz is another defensive rune: sedges, boundaries, and mutual trust. It definitely ties all the things of today into a nice summary. Defending oneself requires boundaries; however, they need to be in such a manner to allow others in and allow yourself to grow. In a couple days, I will be undertaking a journey that will stress my abilities and will require me to have some boundaries built. It will also require mutual trust in myself, my guides, and people in my life. Tonight, I need to work on my defenses. Do I share my fears and concerns with someone and have enough trust in that person to survive? Boundaries first and then build the trust.
