Raido is the wheel, is a journey. Each and every day we have a journey. Today, mine was a new one in leadership. Here is a question I have not answered yet: how do you make observations about a person's actions to a subordinate with the intention to hit home to not do the things the other person did without bashing the person who made the mistake? My learning journey continues!
Othila is the rune of inheritance, of family, and of grief. Grief is like a member of the family. Grief that you can't be everywhere you want to be or need to be. Grief that you have to point out a mistake someone made and suggest a review of their actions. There is grief in everyday, at times we just don't succeed in recognizing it because it is so minimal and other times we can't look past it because it is so substancial.
Ansuz is the rune of messages and the only way to share messages is to communicate them. Communicating is one of the easiest things to do and also is one of the most difficult skills we use. Difficult? Of course. We choose the story, the version, the jesters, the tones, the aromas, the environment in which to communicate.
Inguz brings the task for tonight. Ing is fertile, has faith, and embodies renewal. New beginnings. Faith in the new by integrating the past into the now. Renewing the self and the Self to meet tomorrow as a combined being. The trinity.
