Gebo, Isa, and Berkana were the guiding forces for today.
Gebo, gifts, appears in every day, in every life. The gift of a new day. The gift of friendship. The gift of someone stepping up to defend you even when the offender is loong gone (ever so thankful of that!). Thankful for the gifts given by previous generations. Gifts are everywhere!
Isa is an opportunity to look within to the fears we harbor which place havoc with our progress. Mine are becoming easier to minimize. They are easier to banish to where they belong.
Berkana is the rune of growth and doing the right things. In this case, the right thing to do today was to let go. Usually, I envision letting go in relation to people and the relationships I have/had with them. Today, it was letting go of my criticism of my driving skills. Letting go of attitudes about previous relationships. Letting go of my parents' choices when it comes to my family. Just letting go of the stuff I have no control over.
Eihwaz is tonight's task. Defense, Denial, and Respect. Defend thyself. Face what you are denying and accept it. That brings you the power and removes the power from what you are denying. Respect yourself and all things.
