Ansuz is messages received from a variety of sources. When it is reversed, those messages can be frustrating or our reactions to stimuli can be frustrating. Adversity can come in many forms and it can be useful. So can the image of a nose-full of spray can cheese in someone's nose! You know that stuff STINGS!!!
Dagaz symbolizes Day and with a new day comes hope. I hope this frustration goes away. I hope my wish comes true. I have many hopes. Hopes are good. Without hope and without purpose, we have no meaning in our lives. Ask Viktor Frankl if you don't believe me.
Eihwaz is defensive and one form of defense is respect. Self respect is the highest form of defense. Cultivate it.
